Meet Tyler, a really big 1-year-old Sable Rough Collie boy with an even bigger heart of gold! This giant goober is sweet as can be and loves getting pets and scratches from his people. He’s also a playful puppy and is looking for an active forever family to adventure with for the rest of his life!
Tyler’s favorite pastimes are running and playing. He’s great with other dogs, and we know that he’ll thrive in a family where he has a spirited dog sibling (or two!) to play with. (Older kids would be great, too!) He also needs to have a physical fence at his forever home to make sure that he can run to his heart’s content. Tyler has been working on his cat manners, but we think that his best forever home fit is feline-free.
Tyler is completely house-trained, and while he isn’t crate-trained, he has wonderful indoor manners and does just fine sleeping on a dog bed at night. He’s working hard on his beginner obedience skills—and on learning what he is and isn’t supposed to chew on! Tyler already walks pretty well on leash already and is getting even better at it. He’s motivated by treats and toys, so we’re sure that with continued patience and practice—and with plenty of toys to keep him busy—he’ll be a proper Collie in no time.
If you’re looking for a supersized Collie sweetheart, Tyler might be your perfect fit! Fill out an Adoption Application for him today!
