My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I'm Cinnamon. I may be a senior at 7 years old, but I still have plenty of love to give. My days are calm and laid back, just like me. I'm a bit shy at first, but once you get to know me, you'll find that I'm as loyal as they come. I don't need much, just a cozy lap to curl up on and a loving hand to stroke my fur. I'm the perfect companion for someone who enjoys the mellow side of life. So, why should you adopt me? Because every home needs a touch of Cinnamon, a loyal friend who will always be there for you.

More about this shelter

The mission of the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri is to aid in the alleviation of distress and suffering of animals by operating a shelter in need of care, placing animals in suitable homes, and offering educational programs that promote animal welfare.

We receive our animals from people giving up their pets for a variety of reasons, including changes in family situations and moving. Some of our animals have been strays rescued from the streets by a kind citizen, but all of our animals are looking for permanent, loving forever homes.
