Name: Stubby
Age/DOB: approx 2 years old
Weight: 40lbs
Gender: Male neutered
Breed: Pit Bull/Basset Hound
Stubby is the sweetest, snuggliest, most loyal, stuffy carrying, handsome boy you will ever meet. His name fits him perfectly with his Basset hound body with a sweet Pittie face. He is the perfect mix of playful and relaxed - loves to go for walks (always carrying his stuffy) but also the first to snuggle in your lap on the couch. He knows all basic commands, is crate trained, housebroken, and would never destroy anything in the home. He had a rough start to life before being rescued by Nickel City so is cautious in meeting new people but not reactive; after a few treats and pets he is your best friend. He has completed physical therapy upon arrival to Buffalo for some hind end weakness but has done very well over the past year and has not required any further therapy.
Stubby will thrive being the only dog in the home which is the only reason current owners are absolutely devastated to be giving up this perfect boy.
If you are interested in Stubby, please apply at https://www.nickelcitycaninerescue.org/adopt-a-dog or message the rescue if you are already pre-approved.
