Lala is one half of a mother daughter bonded duo that together are too cute to handle! Both girls were surrendered when their owner decided they could not care for them the way that they deserved. Lala is the mom of the bunch and she lovessss attention in all it's forms. She gets so excited and happy for all the things, her toys, her daughter, other dogs and people! She has such an adorable little waddle, especially when she is prancing about, and we promise it will make you stop everything you are doing to watch and smile. Lala and her daughter are both low riders and deceivingly petite. We are looking to adopt both Marnie and Lala out together, as Lala feels happiest with Marnie by her side. Both girls are heartworm positive, but we would LOVE to get them into a foster home or foster to adopt home while we get them in top top shape! When you adopt a dog from Swamp Haven, you’re not just saving a life. You’re beginning a journey filled with love, loyalty and trust. Life can be busy and stressful. The companionship of a dog is a constant reminder to slow down and enjoy the little things. At Swamp Haven, our mission isn’t to just help down-on-their-luck dogs find their forever homes. Our mission is to create a lasting relationship with you and your family.
Adopt happiness. Our adoption process is unique in that we work with you every step of the way to ensure that we’re placing the right dog with the right family. First, chat with us about what you’re looking for in a dog and we will set up a time for you to meet the lucky pup. From there, fill out an application. Once reviewed we set up a time to bring your potential pup to your house for a home visit and trial week. We want to make sure it’s the right fit for both your family and the dog involved. We will be totally available during the trial week for any questions or concerns. The last step is to finalize the adoption. And then congrats, you’re a new member of the Swamp Haven family and your happy tail has just begun!

Swamp Haven is an animal rescue organization that takes down-on-their-luck dogs and nurtures them back to a healthy mental and physical state, so they can find their forever home. Our goal is simple. We save innocent dogs that have been overlooked by society and provide short-term care including vetting (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and heartworm and flea prevention) and training to learn how to walk politely on a leash, play in a pack and live calmly and lovingly in their new home.
