My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wilma Mae first came to the HART family in 2022. She was part of our foster program. She was returned recently since she had become a diabetic and her owner could not care for her. Wilma Mae has some road blocks to overcome. She dislikes any form of restraint. She wants everything on her terms. We have not seen her playing yet but we think her inner kitten is somewhere in her.

She can be sweet and sit in your lap, if she likes you and feels safe. She can be a little spicy, if she does not like you or trust you. Our medical team has her on a twice a day medication that is mixed in her food to help her with stress. Since she is a diabetic, our medical team requires that you have an established veterinary relationship. Our medical team will go over all her needs and care. She should not be placed in a home with children. We are recommending an experienced home only.
