My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BearBoy is a Terrier mix puppy. He is getting ready to celebrate his 1st bierhday. He is adorable, smart, and loyal.

He was found with his siblings abandoned under a house in the Houston area. We were contacted to provide a safe, loving, and nuturing environment for he and his siblings. He has always been very affectionate. He still loves to crawl into your lap for rubs.

BearBoy loves to play with the other dogs here at the ranch. He loves all toys. His favorite is one that he can carry around. He doesn't have a lot of experience with cats. He loves kids. He would do great in a home with another dog.

He loves going for walks. He stops to smell everything when exploring new places. He is the best sidekick for road trips. He will run like the wind and then crawl up on the couch or bed and chill.

BearBoy wants to celebrate his 1st birthday with his furever family.

Once a companion animal becomes part of our family, our mission is to step in with help at any time in their lives that they may need it. We seek to stop the constant recycling of precious lives back into the streets and shelters. Our dogs are our family. They will always be welcomed back at Finns Rescue Ranch in Harper, Texas during their lifetime when in need.

More about this rescue

We are a private 501c3 not for profit based in Delray Beach FL. Every day SFCF sponsors and saves the lives of last chance end of the line dogs in kill shelters, abandoned animals and street dogs in Florida and Texas. SFCF sponsors medical behavioral and other last chance neglected or abused dogs. At Finns Ranch we rehabilitate our canine family physically emotionally and behaviorally before sending them to new lives with their forever families. We strive to send dogs from states where there are weak spay/ neuter laws and an over abundance of neglected and abandoned dogs to states where better animal protection laws are in place.
