Meet Dave!
If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy and cuddle companion all in one, Dave might just be your perfect match! This handsome Chocolate Lab mix is full of love, energy, and personality. He’s happiest when he’s spending time with “his people,” whether that’s heading out for a walk, playing fetch, or curling up together on the couch after a fun day.

Dave is a smart, sensitive guy who knows how to communicate what he needs — he’ll “tell” you when it’s time for dinner, playtime, or a good snuggle. While it may take him a little time to settle into a new home and feel completely comfortable, your patience will be rewarded with trust, loyalty, and a whole lot of affection.
He’d thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise and attention. Once he feels secure, Dave will show you what a devoted, loving companion he can be. Dave is good with other active dogs and with cats.

Our Applications Team will review and approve applications.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once approved and you agree the pet is right for you, sign the contract, pay the adoption fee and take your new family member home!

The Fayette County Humane Society (FCHS), staffed entirely by volunteers, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported entirely by individual and corporate donations. Because we do not have a shelter, all of the animals we rescue live in temporary foster homes until they are adopted. We believe that all companion pets have intrinsic value and should be treated with the reverence and care they deserve.
