A boy who could enjoy a life of leisure

Mikhail (Misha) is a gorgeous 1 yr old Russian Blue mix. He is extremely affectionate, when he is comfortable with you, but he could take awhile to warm up. Once he does, he is a complete lap kitty who loves to give kisses and 'make biscuits' on you. He loves to cuddle with you while you sleep. He would best be suited in a quiet home without children or dogs and with an experienced cat owner who will give him the quiet time and space he might need to adapt to new surroundings. He is very relaxed around other cats. He is independent but also doesn’t like to be confined. He wants to be with his person. He is not needy, however. He has perfect litter box habits and is a very clean kitty. Misha is fully vetted (neutered, vaccinated, tested neg/neg for FIV/FeLV, microchiped) and is ready to go to his forever home. Some pets adopted as companion pets to other will have the option to an adoption trial period of a week or two, to make sure the new pet is a fit for the adopter home.

Adoptable Cats Houston is a non-profit organization committed to finding permanent homes for cats and kittens. Our cats were homeless strays or abandoned cats that were living in a colony that we manage. They live in foster homes where they are nurtured and receive the medical care they need. Our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and tested for FIV and FeLV prior to being adopted into responsible, stable, loving forever homes.

We are a team of cat lovers that volunteer to make a difference to the stray cats that cross our path.
