My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sophie is a sweet, little Spaniel mix, estimated to be 8-10 years old. Sophie appears to be spayed and has just had a dental cleaning. She is microchipped, vaccinated and ready for her “forever” home! * Sophie says: “ I love people of all kinds, older kids & adults alike. I’m good with other dogs, large & small, and curious about cats. I learn quickly and love to please my people. Car rides, walks and snuggles are some of my favorite things! Since I am allergic to fleas, I have some bare spots on my tail and rear end, and may need a weekly bath and some minor medications.


I sleep well at night, snuggled in my crate, or on your bed! I’d love to be in a home where someone is around most of the time, or can take me to work. I need a fenced yard, so I don't wander off. My foster Mom says I‘m one of the sweetest, most personable little dogs she‘s ever known. Please help me find a loving “forever” home! My adoption fee is $85, to help cover some of my rescue costs." To keep our expenses as low as possible, so that we can rescue more shelter dogs & cats, we prefer to find loving homes for our rescued animals within the Eugene/Springfield or surrounding areas whenever possible.
