My name is Bella and I'm a 3 yr. old very sweet American Pit Terrier. My owner is having to give me up because she's moving and can't take me with her, so I'm looking for a new home. I'm very family friendly, good with adults, Love kids and other doggies too. I'm cuddly, warm and playful. I'm mild mannered and I will bark when I'm trying to tell you something. I'm a really pretty girl. I'm getting all my shots this week 5/16/2024 - and will be spayed as soon as Teresa and her nice volunteers can find either a foster home or a permanent home where I can rest from my spay. I hope you are looking for a nice, sweet girl and will give me a chance.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to save the lives of dogs facing euthanasia in high-kill shelters nationwide by pledging funds that enable rescues to take in, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. On occasion, if we do not have a local rescue in place in the city the dogs are in, we bring them to Illinois to avoid their euthanasia. They are placed in boarding for vetting, once done, they are promoted for fostering or adoption.
