Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Copper - Your Playful, Affectionate Sidekick
Copper is a 1-year-8-month-old Treeing Walker Coonhound mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. This friendly guy loves everyone he meets and is always ready to show his affection. He knows `sit` and `down,` enjoys fetching toys, and is happiest when he`s moving and exploring.
Copper can be jumpy and pulls hard on leash, but a harness makes walks much easier. He will need continued training to improve his leash manners and reinforce good behavior.
His previous owner reported he was housebroken, loved car rides, and was friendly with adults and kids. He`s not a fan of cats, so a cat-free home is best. He`s not destructive and has never escaped, making him a reliable and affectionate companion for the right family.
Copper was surrendered due to some territorial issues with another dog in his previous home, and he was briefly adopted again but was too big for that family. In shelter testing, he was playful with other dogs, so a meet-and-greet is recommended. Recommended for kids 12+.
Copper is looking for a loving home where he can play, learn, and be a loyal, energetic friend for years to come.
Adoption fees are currently waived! All pets are spay/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped!
