My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sally is a 5-year-old Beagle mix who weighs 28 pounds. This sweet girl was a stray and no one came to claim her. She is house trained and crate trained. Sally sleeps quietly at night and is very quiet in her crate during the day when left alone. She gets along well with other dogs and so far, is ignoring the cats in her foster home. There are no kids in her foster home so we are not sure how she would do with them. Sally is shy and nervous and very sensitive to sounds. She will need someone willing to work with her to build her confidence and help her overcome her fears. Sally is cuddly and loves to be petted. Her favorite place is next to her foster mom on the couch getting pets. She also enjoys treats, chewing bones and sniffing around the yard. Sally will make a wonderful companion!

If you are interested in adopting Sally, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. Adoption is a suggested donation of no less than $200 to $300, based on age.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
