Scout is a lovely one-year old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on May 3, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who found her on Dugan Road in the Belpre Ohio area a few days earlier along with her five 8-weeks old kittens (Do-Si-Dos, Samoas, Tagalongs, Thin Mints, and Trefoils).
Scout has a gray tabby short smooth coat, a long ringed tail, and a beautiful face with golden eyes, a gray velvet nose, a splash of white on her muzzle, and long white whiskers.
This little momma has a super-sweet personality and is a pushover for attention. She loves to roll over for belly rubs and will surely melt your heart when she looks up with hopeful trusting eyes.
Scout was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on May 8, 2024. She is very petite and weighed just 5.2 lbs that day.
Since her kittens were fully weaned, Scout was separated from her babies and is enjoying some much-needed rest and relaxation.
Scout's kittens have been enjoying time with our compassionate HSOV Kennel Techs to help them with their social/people skills. We will post their individual photos when they are ready to make their official debuts.
Scout will be spayed in the near future and will soon be ready to find her dream home either through adoption or rescue.
Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
