Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Cooper!
I am a 5 year old male mixed breed dog who was brought in as an owner surrender. I am a very good boy and housetrained, but was surrendered due to a new baby in the house because I lack personal space. My owners said I was not aggressive but wouldn't leave the new baby alone so it was best I found a new home. I lived with other dogs and got along with a neighbor dog but had a few occasions where loud noises scared me and my dog brother and I got into tiffs. I might be better as an only dog, but I seem to do fine with dogs here. I love to play and romp outdoors and hang out with my humans. My humans told the shelter I had a lot of anxiety when they dropped me off, but I have been pretty ok here. I don't like thunderstorms or fireworks though. My adoption fee is $120 and includes my neuter, microchip, vaccinations and negative heartworm test. I do have a rescue that may want to pull me if they have an available foster, so foster to adopt through that group (NOT associated with animal control) is possibly available if you aren't quite ready to commit to "forever". Please call 630-553-9256 or email animalcontrol@Kendallcountyil.gov if interested in taking me home!
