My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Pittsburgh, PA.

Dale- Hi friends! My name is Dale and I'm a 10 week old cattle dog mix. My mom was a full heeler and my dad was a golden retriever/lab mix. I came from Kentucky and was living outside, but now I'm safe and sound thanks to acdra and I'm being fostered in Pittsburgh, PA! I am a fun, fearless little guy but also know how to just hang out. I'm a little more rambunctious than my brother Chip and love to play and wrestle with my foster brother!

I'm working on being crate and potty trained and doing better each day! I will need a patient person who understands puppies and the exercise/training that a cattle dog needs! I would love to go to a home with another playful dog as well. I am current on all my age appropriate vaccines and I'm microchipped. I'll need to be adopted out on a neuter contract. Please email my foster mom with questions Ltoglia15@yahoo.com or fill out an application for me at Www.acdra.org

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer group that rescues Australian Cattle Dogs. Our dogs reside in foster homes until they are adopted
Every year, thousands of Australian Cattle Dogs find themselves homeless through no fault of their own. Although the reasons are diverse, the result is the same. Healthy, adoptable dogs face euthanasia in shelters.

The Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association rescues ACDs in shelters from Maine to Georgia and gives these dogs a fresh start with a loving family. Our foster home volunteers welcome the dogs into their homes where they live as members of the family. During the time in foster care, our volunteers determine what kind of forever home will be the right one for each dog.
