Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Billie: The Gentle Heart With a Cat-Loving Soul
If Billie were a person, she’d be the quiet girl at the party who hangs out with the resident cat and leaves early with a cozy blanket over her shoulders. She`s sweet, sensitive, and honestly just waiting for someone to notice the soft, wonderful dog hiding behind those shy shelter eyes.
Billie is having a tough time here—shelters can be loud, busy, and full of strange sounds (aka her personal nightmare). But don’t be fooled! According to her previous family, Billie is actually a total lovebug. Think “marshmallow in dog form”: gentle, affectionate, and endlessly loyal.
Her Hobbies (per her previous humans):
Going to the beach
Visiting the dog park
Politely greeting every human she meets
Being the world’s most devoted cat enthusiast
Yes, you read that right—Billie LOVES cats. Not “tolerates,” not “coexists with”—LOVES. She groomed them. She snuggled them. She probably wrote them sonnets in her head. So if you’ve got cats, Billie is ready to be their tiny, adoring groupie.
What About Other Dogs? Billie is friendly with dogs out and about, but she prefers not to share her home with them. She’s more of a “hostess with one guest only” kind of girl.
At Home: Billie is potty trained (a big perk!), quiet, and low-key. She`s still a sensitive soul—loud noises or big gatherings aren’t her jam—but she’s got coping skills: her emotional support blanket and her favorite safe spots. She just wants a peaceful home where she can be her best, softest self.
If you’re looking for a gentle companion, a feline fan club president, or the world’s cutest introvert, Billie might just be your girl.
Come meet her at Anti-Cruelty—she’s ready to show someone her real, beautiful personality. Maybe that someone is you.
