Introducing Josie - a shy but super sweet girl! She recently joined us with a few other dogs and really enjoys their company. We think she would thrive with older children, given her reserved personality. With a gradual introduction, we believe she could also get along well with cats. Josie is just looking for a loving home to help her come out of her shell and show her true adorable self!
Josie came in with Karma and her previous owner would love for them to go together but due to space issues in our facility we can't always make that happen.

Staff will work on processing your application as soon as they ca.

Sign Adoption Contract

After being approved, your adoption counselor will go over what your new pet has gotten as far as veterinary care while they were with OCHS.

Pay Fee

Each pet adoption fee will vary.

7.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

1. Adoption application must be completed.
2. Adoption review and placement is made by staff with best fit for animal as the goal.
3. Fees (sales tax not included):
Puppy: $150, Kitten: $50
Adult dog: $100, Adult cat: $15-50
4. Adoption contract required; includes requirement to return pet to OCHS if no longer wanted/cannot keep.

We are a private non-profit animal welfare organization located in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. OCHS provides a safe and warm facility to over 1000 pets a year. We have over 100 animals every day are in our care at the Adoption Center.
We are dedicated and strive to improve the welfare of pets in and around Oneida County.
