We are a private non-profit animal welfare organization located in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. OCHS provides a safe and warm facility to over 1000 pets a year. We have over 100 animals every day are in our care at the Adoption Center.

- Sign Adoption ContractAfter being approved, your adoption counselor will go over what your new pet has gotten as far as veterinary care while they were with OCHS.
- Pay FeeEach pet adoption fee will vary.

1. Adoption application must be completed.
2. Adoption review and placement is made by staff with best fit for animal as the goal.
3. Fees (sales tax not included):
Puppy: $150, Kitten: $50
Adult dog: $100, Adult cat: $15-50
4. Adoption contract required; includes requirement to return pet to OCHS if no longer wanted/cannot keep.
