Lily and Showtime are a super sweet and special bonded pair! Both girls came to us with what happily turned out to be disabilities - but miracles do happen and they are 100% recovered and ready for adoption! Showtime was found on July 4th ("Showtime is a brand of fireworks haha!), and Lily came to us with her siblings. After a series of events, Showtime and Lily were put together at our facility - and the quickly became inseparable - playing, eating, cuddling and snuggling together, just adorable. At one point Showtime was adopted without Lily but both girls quickly let us know that was not ok with them, so we put them back together and will never separate them again!
Their foster says Lily is just the sweetest! Very brave and good with other cats, dogs, babies, and people. She's still slightly clumsy with her back legs, but it doesn’t slow her down at all, and she’s able to run up stairs and play completely fine. A big purr machine and lap cat. And Showtime is a bit more shy, but just as sweet. Once Showtime gets used to you, she is also a purr machine and loves pets. She is also very tolerant of other cats, dogs, babies and people. The girls are very, very bonded - these two spend a lot of the day just cuddling together.
If you're ready to have lots of love and sweetness in your family, please ask to meet these special girls!

Due to COVID-19, we are not currently holding in-person adoption events. Most of our cats are in foster homes and we are doing virtual meet-and-greets with them.
We also have adoptable cats at our two partner cat cafes – CatCafe Lounge (https://www.catcafelounge.com/) in West Los Angeles and Cat Therapy (https://www.cattherapysb.com/) in Santa Barbara. You can make a reservation on their websites, or we can arrange a meeting by appointment once you have filled-out our application and spoken to our team.

More about this rescue
Stray Cat Alliance is a non-profit organization focused on educating and empowering communities to advocate for every cat’s right to be safe, healthy, and valued. Everyday, our team works to save the helpless lives of kittens and cats by providing: spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return (TNR), adoptions, wellness care, medical care, and community shelter support. Our goals are to:
-Eradicate cruelty toward cats through advocacy, rescue, and education.
-Find loving forever homes for cats and kittens taken in through all of our programs.
-Help shelters transform from executioners to safe havens for cats by implementing SCA’s life-saving policies and procedures.
-Educate the community about the plight of free‐roaming cats and empower people to take action to stop population growth through spay and neuter.
-Create and sustain a No-Kill Nation by mentoring other communities to become no-kill through our grassroots programs.
Stray Cat Alliance envisions a time when all cats are valued and safe whether in homes or communities, and when shelters serve as temporary safe havens.
