Woody is a handsome house hippo who would love to spend the hot Tucson summer at the pool with you!! He’s ready to pack his doggy speedo and head home with you today! And don’t worry- if you don’t have a pool, he’ll settle for some central AC and a bit of quality couch time. Buddy has been in and out of the shelter since 2023 and is looking to settle down permanently in a forever home of his own. He shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been playful and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’ll do best in a home without small dogs or other small pets. Please ask to meet Woody today!!

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Mon - Tues: 12-7pm Wed - 1:30-7pm Thurs - Fri: 12-7pm Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 5 pm Must be checked in 45 minutes before close

2.
Meet the Pet

Once you have decided which pets you are interested in, sign in for an adoption counselor who will guide you through the adoption process.

3.
Take the Pet Home

Cats must leave in a carrier and dogs must leave in a carrier or on leash. We do have these available for purchase in our lobby store.

Additional adoption info

Year-Round Adoption Fees:
• Puppies and kittens less than 4 months old $50
• Adult dogs and cats $30
• A standard $20 dog license fee may apply
• Pets who have been waiting for more than 2 weeks for a family and pets over 5 years old $0 - Fee Waived!

Every adoption includes:
• Spay or neuter surgery
• First Vaccinations
• Microchip
• Vet visit certificate
• Pet insurance
