Murci's Mission is pleased to introduce you to our newest cats, Pumpkin and Renny. These beautiful long haired cats came to the Mission when they were abandoned in someones care that couldn't keep them. Thanks to our foster Marilyn, they had a safe place to land!

Some words to describe this duo would be: incredibly soft coats, friendly and very loving! They have an estimated birthday of 5/20/2019. They love to snuggle and purr and would make a great addition to any family. Renny LOVES belly rubs! They also love to be brushed.

Both cats have excellent litterbox manner, are neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and dewormed. Their adoption fee is $50 for the pair. They will come with a sample of their food and all of their medical records. Thanks for considering them!

Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
