Gavin: Meet Gavin – Your Future Adventure Buddy and Couch Cuddler!
Gavin is a 1-year, 3-month-old Australian Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and legs built for zoomies! This handsome guy is incredibly smart, athletic, and has a goofy side that will keep you smiling every day.
Currently thriving in his foster home, Gavin has formed a strong bond with his foster family. He can be a little shy at first and takes his time warming up to new people—but once he trusts you, you’ve got a loyal best friend for life. Gavin is a gentle soul who simply needs patience, love, and a calm environment to help him feel at home.
Gavin gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home and absolutely loves playtime with his canine siblings. He does take a bit of time to adjust to new dog friends, so slow introductions are key. He hasn't been around cats, but any introductions should be done gradually and under supervision. Due to his sensitive nature, Gavin would do best in a home without small children.
He’s both house trained and crate trained, and while he loves lounging on the couch for a good cuddle session, Gavin also has lots of energy to burn! He’d thrive in a home with space to run or with an active person who can give him the exercise he craves—he could run for miles with his doggy brother when the zoomies strike!
