Meet Nala, who comes to us from a small kill shelter in Florida where she was set to be euthanized that very evening at 5pm. She was an owner surrender due to a divorce situation. Nala is a 2–3-year-old, heartworm negative Plott Hound mix. She has had all of her shots including rabies, Bordetella and has been microchipped. She is ok so far with other dogs, knows her commands, gives handshakes, is treat motivated and very smart and playful. She is also housebroken, and crate trained. She does well in a car and there were zero issues on her long drive from Florida. Nala is also in need of a foster home and is currently living in boarding.
