Please meet mom Marcy (FCID# 03/28/2024 - 45) and her daughter Ditto (FCID# 05/02/2024 - 4, adopted)!
This duo is a sweet treat! Momma Marcy came into our home with her two babies and has been the best momma to them. Her little boy Beedle was adopted already, so now it’s just Marcy and her mini-me Ditto. Marcy arrived social, friendly, and chatty from the start. She loves attention and will take hugs and pets. She has a fun squeak whenever you pick her up. Still a youngster herself, Marcy likes to run and play. She greets you whenever you come home, ready for attention. And with her darling personality and fun white mustache, who can resist her?
Little Ditto is almost a carbon copy of her mother, minus the mustache. Ditto loves to run and play. She also loves her mommy and copies her (which is a good thing since Marcy is a great example). While not shy, Ditto is not quite confident enough to be a snuggler (but she may well become one). But she’s a fun little girl who likes to be near the action (and people). She’s on the chair next to me as I type this.
Both have been around two resident cats and a small dog. While they didn’t become best buds, they coexisted after slow introductions. With patience and supervision, they may be able to live with dogs. Marcy was protective as a mother, so it’s hard to tell how much she likes dogs.
If you have room in your heart for two, please consider adopting Marcy and Ditto together! Thank you for considering.
Marcy is playing in our Christiana PetSmart adoption center while awaiting your visit. Please ask to meet her! Thank you. https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/. (Foster: Jenn R.)

Submit Application
People can view our cats on-line and can see some of them in the adoption centers. An application can be for a particular cat or a TBD.
Approve Application
Processing takes about 3-5 business days. Upon approval, a meet & great and/or adoption will be arranged.
Meet the Pet
An approved app is needed to meet cats that are with fosters & those that are in our clinic/shelters, but not to meet adoption center cats.
Sign Adoption Contract
The adoption counselor will review the paperwork and the medical form with the adopter. This is a good time to ask questions before signing.
Pay Fee
Adoption fees are based upon the age of the cat - kitten, adult, 7+ yrs. - how many cats are being adopted and special needs cats.
Take the Pet Home
An adopted pet must be taken home in a carrier. If there are other pets at home, please give them a slow intro period of about 2 weeks.
