My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Starshine was rescued from an abandoned house as a pregnant mother cat in early May of 2024. She has beautiful tortoiseshell markings, especially those on her face and neck! The orange streak down her nose kind of reminds us of a shooting star and she has a lovely patch of orange fur on her chest! Starshine is an adult cat of probably around 4 years old, but we don't know an exact age. She likes to eat wet food and loves to get attention from people! Starshine is one of our sweetest and friendliest cats although she can sometimes be shy when first meeting complete strangers. For all that she has been through in her past, she has adjusted very quickly and well in the rescue setting! She has a good attitude about life and her overall circumstances. Unfortunately, this cat has had litter after litter in her life and she is ready to retire from that lifestyle! Starshine has now been spayed and is ready to find her forever home now! Starshine is great with other cats and kittens and also fine with cat-friendly dogs. Starshine would also be fine as an only pet because she is very people-centered and she tends to be easy going and independent! Starshine has been spayed, is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV/HW tested negative, and microchipped!
