Rocky has grown into a confident, playful young adult cat. With a fantastic, cuddly personality and an adventurous spirit, he brings a spark of joy and mischief wherever he goes.
This furry nugget was just inches from disaster when rescued — found lying stunned near a busy road, his rescuer feared the worst. Thankfully, once in safe hands and given a moment to recover, Rocky was bouncing around as if nothing had happened.
If you're looking for a curious, affectionate, and playful companion — especially one who could entertain you or a current cat in the home — Rocky may be your perfect match.
He is currently located at our Punta Mita location and can be flown to Canada or the U.S.A with a flight angel escort.
Rocky Furrboa has had our complete Cat protocol :
* Complete Health exam by a Vet * Feline tests to rule out FeLV, FIV & Heartworm * Bloodwork 1: CBC (Mycoplasma check if indicated) * Bloodwork 2: Chem profile * Deworming at intake and monthly thereafter * Vaccines: Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (FVR), Feline Distemper (FP), Calicivirus (FCV), Leukemia, Rabies * Spay/Neuter * Flea/Tick prevention * Microchipping available

Two women, one American, and one Mexican met in Sayulita through their mutual concern for the many sick, abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs and cats in the area.
They began working together informally to rescue, rehabilitate, and find homes for these animals. Their efforts eventually led to the formation of Wet Noses Rescue, which has grown from a small backyard operation to an expanding nonprofit housed on a property with dedicated facilities in Punta de Mita. Providing the animals with health care, rehabilitation, socialization, and careful evaluation which is needed for a successful adoption to new homes in the United States and Canada.
Wet Noses Rescue also provides Spay/Neuter clinics in the local community to reduce overpopulation and vaccinations to reduce the prevalence of serious diseases such as Parvo and Distemper.
