Hello, I'm Sprout! My past is a bit of a mystery, but my journey has brought me here, and I'm ready for my fresh start. Life was a little overwhelming in my previous foster home, very busy living situation where I didn't always know which items were mine to keep. Because of that, I've developed some "strong opinions" about my favorite things (bones, food, specific toys, and sometimes even my human's attention!) It's just my way of saying, "This is mine, and I'd like to keep it, please!"
I have been in my new foster home with the Founder of Paws4Christ for just a few weeks and I’m making wonderful progress with positive reinforcement training (treats are my favorite motivation!) I am meeting lots of new furry friends here and my foster Pawrents have been so patient and consistent with teaching me that sharing is okay. Finding a forever family that understands this will continue to help me improve and grow into the bestest girl. I may do better in a home with one other doggo but prefer no younger children because I am quite an athletic and bouncy pup-per.
At nearly two years old, for a 35 pound, medium size pup; I am a smart and affectionate gal who is learning to walk well on a leash, accepting that crate training is actually a good and safe space when needed, I love a good sniffari in the yard, and enjoy quiet time beside my humans or in their arms.
Loyalty and protectiveness are my middle names. I’ll be your devoted shadow and guardian, always by your side and looking out for you. If your application is approved we will contact you asking for a picture/small video of secured yard for pet to be taken out potty/play

Home Check
We do request a home visit or we can do a FaceTime video as well so we could possibly meet if adoption is approved

Sign Adoption Contract
Foster-to-adopt or Adoptions Contracts, Spay/Neuter, Microchip forms are to be signed the day pet is brought or going to your residence

Pay Fee
Adoption fee is due at the time of signing contracts over Venmo, PayPal or Cashapp

Take the Pet Home
You would then be able to take your new pet home and

We do offer out of state adoption to approved applicants, you would cover transport while we assist in arranging with very trusted companies we are partnered with or at your discretion

Our passion is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home animals in crisis from cruelty, abandonment and neglect.
Furthermore with fundraising, networking, engaging alongside fellow rescues, providing and coordinating transportation; we will continue to save lives with the guidance of the Lord!
Ongoing support from the community such as volunteering, donating and fostering will ensure finding amazing, permanent adoptive homes for all animals the Lord places in our path!
