Luna has been in a foster home almost 2 years now and she is safe and happy. However, if the perfect forever home comes along, we will consider moving her. Luna is a sweet senior who lost the only home she ever knew. She is now an 13+ year old, 55 lb terrier blend. She is house trained and knows all about manners. She isn’t destructive when left out and sleeps in a dog bed overnight so we don’t know if she’s crate trained. She is sweet, happy and very lovable; her smile says it all. She is older and is stiff when she first gets up so she’s on an nsaid twice per day and will need regular bloodwork monitoring. She still loves to play, go exploring, and get belly rubs. The mutual love she and her former owner shared is apparent, but sadly he passed away and Luna ended up in a small overcrowded rural TX shelter. Luna has a lot of love to give and a lot of laughs and snuggles to bring with her to her new home. We have not been able to test Luna with cats or kids but her previous foster in TX said she’s good with respectful children. She cannot handle a flight of stairs so her new home should not have more than one or two stairs to access the outdoor/potty area. She loves to go for walkies! She keeps a great pace. Another friendly doggie friend would be appreciated in her new home but not necessary if her humans are around most of the time. If you would like to meet Luna please complete our application at
https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Luna’s adoption fee is $175 and she is spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations, HW-, and chipped. We do not adopt outside of Colorado.
