Hi, I'm Devil Went Down to Georgia, a shy but sweet rat. I'm pretty smart too, if I do say so myself. I've got one pal here, but I'm always open to making more. I'm a simple guy, really. My favorite pastime? Munching on Cheerios. There's just something about that wholesome, oaty crunch that makes my day. When I'm not snacking, I'm usually playing hide and seek with my friend. I'm pretty good at it, thanks to my shy nature. But don't worry, once I get to know you, I'll come out of my shell. Adopt me for a good listener and loyal friend.

Notes from his foster - They will soon transition to every other day nebulizer treatment for URI symptoms. Issues like this are not uncommon as rats get older. They relax well in the nebulizer tub during treatment and Stairway is a champ when it comes to taking his medication. Devil is a little fussier with the medication but we get it done. They have great appetites and since senior rats are prone to kidney disease I feed them a low phosphorus diet to help prevent this. They love baked sweet potato and frozen peas. They get a couple grapes during the week. During free roam time they are active for a while then settle down for a nap. Stairway has always been a Houdini when it comes to picking him up. Lately I have been using a large piece of fleece to put over him and then I can usually pick him up.
