Leelou, 2.5 years
With heavy hearts, we need to find a new loving home for this sweet, sweet girl. We are taking over the care in our home of my elderly father-in-law, and due to her size and loving energy, she has proven to be a fall risk for him more than once.
LeeLou is 2.5 years old (we adopted her from a reputable rescue when she was 5months old). She was listed as a pit-mix and the trainer we had for her was convinced she is also part Ridgeback (from her height, color, ears, and gorgeous face!). She is a LOVE BUG and wants to snuggle and lean and dig under covers next to you on the couch. She is crate trained, but if you wanted her in bed with you, she’d be there in an instant. She has basic commands (sit, stay, place, and lie down…though for both place and lie down, she is really hesitant unless it’s on a rug or dog bed. #princess). She is still a baby at heart, but she loves people and kids. She has not had much dog-socialization that wasn’t directly monitored by a trainer.
