DOG'S DESCRIPTION:  Lollipop is living in a foster home with over 15 dogs of all sizes/ages/breeds and is ready fo her forever home.  Her favorite foster friends are babies/puppies as she nurtures all of them as if they were her own.  She is more of a "dog's dog" and will need another dog in the home to help her to continue to gain her confidence.  If your dog is looking for a new best friend, Lollipop just might be the one.  She has yet to meet a dog that she doesn't like or that doesn't like her. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
