My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB 4/11/2023

Crosby is a sweet, cuddly little boy with a playful spark that makes every day more fun! This handsome guy absolutely lives for playtime — whether he’s chasing toys, romping with his kitty friends, or engaging in interactive games with his favorite humans. For Crosby, playtime truly is the best time!!!

When he’s not busy being the life of the party, Crosby is happy to snuggle up and soak in some love. He has a gentle, affectionate side that makes him the perfect balance of playful and precious.

Crosby is:

Great with other cats

Child friendly

Comfortable with non-aggressive dogs

Because he thrives on companionship and loves having a playmate, Crosby must be adopted into a home with another playful kitty who can keep up with his fun-loving energy.

Spayed/neutered

- Microchipped with lifetime registration

- Combo tested for FIV/FeLV

- Treated for internal parasites

- Up-to-date on flea prevention and age-appropriate vaccines

- Socialized in loving foster homes

More about this rescue

Rescue/Shelter Description

The Village Mews was founded to improve the lives of stray, abandoned and displaced cats and kittens in upstate SC. We are a 501(c)(3), non-profit, in-home foster rescue. Our felines reside in caring foster homes, where they thrive in safe indoor environments. Any cat that is accepted into our foster program will remain with a loving foster family until adopted. Our volunteers work patiently with each cat providing them with medical care, socialization and rehabilitation. Once our cats are socially acclimated, in good health and have completed their medical requirements they begin their journey to finding their perfect forever homes.
As a volunteer based non-profit, we depend on the generosity and support of our Village. We are grateful for all monetary donations as well as in-kind donations such as dry/ canned food and litter. We rely on private contributions to continue our rescue efforts.
