Jersey Girl is a true lover and absolutely lives up to her name! This sweet gray tabby is one of the most affectionate, toy-motivated lap companions you will ever meet. Whether you’re cooking in the kitchen or settling in to watch TV, Jersey Girl wants to be right there with you — preferably curled up in your lap.

She is incredibly people-focused and loves being involved in everything her humans are doing. Jersey Girl is also quite intelligent and has been known to swipe a cell phone just like a curious toddler! She brings laughter, personality, and endless snuggles wherever she goes.

Jersey Girl is wonderful with children, other cats, and non-aggressive dogs, making her a perfect fit for many different family environments.

She is bonded with her sister, Lovie. Their connection is special, and they must be adopted together. These two girls complement each other perfectly and share a deep friendship that makes them even more wonderful companions.

Rescue/Shelter Description

The Village Mews was founded to improve the lives of stray, abandoned and displaced cats and kittens in upstate SC. We are a 501(c)(3), non-profit, in-home foster rescue. Our felines reside in caring foster homes, where they thrive in safe indoor environments. Any cat that is accepted into our foster program will remain with a loving foster family until adopted. Our volunteers work patiently with each cat providing them with medical care, socialization and rehabilitation. Once our cats are socially acclimated, in good health and have completed their medical requirements they begin their journey to finding their perfect forever homes.
As a volunteer based non-profit, we depend on the generosity and support of our Village. We are grateful for all monetary donations as well as in-kind donations such as dry/ canned food and litter. We rely on private contributions to continue our rescue efforts.
