My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chassie – a survivor looking for her happily ever after!

Chassie has been through more than any dog should. When her previous owners decided they didn’t want her anymore, they tried to end her life—but thankfully, she was saved just in time. Now this resilient girl is safe, thriving with her foster family, and ready to find the loving forever home she truly deserves.

Chassie is an older lady with a touch of arthritis, but don’t let that fool you—her spunky spirit still shines. With the help of joint supplements, she enjoys long morning and evening walks full of sniffs, some good backyard sunbathing, and plenty of cozy nap time around the house.

She’s incredibly smart—she knows how to sit, give paw, and wait—but as a true husky, she also knows how to pick and choose when she feels like showing off those skills! What Chassie never hesitates to share, though, is her heart. She’s never met a human she doesn’t like, greeting everyone she meets with wagging tails and cheerful “awooos.”

Chassie would do best as the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all the love, cuddles, and attention without having to share. She’s affectionate when she wants to be, goofy, independent, and full of personality—the perfect mix of sass and sweetness that makes huskies so unforgettable.

After surviving the worst, Chassie is ready for the best: a family who will cherish her for the rest of her days. Could that be you?

Additional adoption info

All of our dogs and cats come spayed/neutered and vaccinated! Some of the pups will only have their first round of shots and may need rabies if they are under 3 months old. But other than that, these babies come ready to go! Our adoption fees vary, please inquire about each dog's individual fees. We do have cats and kittens available from time to time, so please inquire if you are looking for a feline pal! With their vetting, flights and care, we only ask for the adoption donation to help offset costs and make sure our adopters are serious. We love our rescues like we love our family. They mean the world to us and we just want to see them in good loving homes! And please check back as we are always adding new rescues to this page.

More about this rescue

We approach each every situation with an open mind. We work to build respect and trust with the partners, communities and countries we work in. With their acceptance, we build a plan together to meet the most pressing issues. We listen, learn and solve the needs together. We look for solutions that are integrated, scale-able, and sustainable. At Compassion Kind, we work with governments, institutions, local leaders, civil society organizations, foundations and businesses around the world to ensure that the most vulnerable beings are heard, and that they get the assistance they need to sustain from within the communities. Our teams and partners advocate for capacity building training and grass roots techniques so we make a lasting impact, create measurable change and operate as efficiently as possible.
