What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Meet Gracie, a gentle ~4 year old husky mix who's blossomed into the perfect calm companion! She is easy like Sunday morning. And this resilient girl loves treats, cozy naps, getting brushed, leisurely walks, and has some playful spin moves at dinner time.
Gracie is a dream housemate: fully house-trained, crate-comfortable (but doesn't need one), and pro with the dog door! She's good with other dogs, especially larger, mellow pups, and rides beautifully in the car. She's played with some larger males at the dog park, but prefers to chill at home with our dogs.
After surviving as a stray through two major Houston storms, this tough survivor just needed time to heal and trust again. She's shy with men initially but warms up with patience. Gracie would thrive with a calm family who appreciates her gentle, easy-going nature.
Microchipped • Spayed • Up-to-date on shots
Previous owner unable to reclaim - she's ready for her real forever family!
