My name is Val!

Are you prepared to have some fun?? My name is Val, and I came to ECCHA as a return. I was originally from Texas and taken is as a transfer with several other dogs. I am an adventurous, playful, and loving lady who loves butt scratches, playing fetch, and going on walks! I love to be snuggled up in blankies when its cold out - those texas roots didn`t provide me with much of a winter coat! I don`t seem to be bothered by much of anything, and will gladly pose for dressed-up photos with my foster family. I even went to a really busy event at the Brewing Projekt with lots of dogs, kids, and adults of all ages, and did so well! I even fell asleep on one of their big, soft chairs. I really like playing with other dogs, but we aren`t sure how I do with cats. I have a tick bourne illness that needs to be monitored, but with a round of antibiotcs whenever it starts bugging me I am good as new. I did live with another dog in my previous foster home, but went to one without dogs after starting to not get along with him - staff thinks its because I was getting sore from my tick bourne illness and jut wanted to be left alone! Please introduce me slowly to any other pets you have, and be aware that when I am not feeling well, I want to rest and recover all by myself. If you have children, I`m looking for a home with respectful kiddos - they are great but need to be aware of my boundaries as well. I am already spayed.
