Their adoption process

The adoption fee varies according to the dog's age. An application and a homecheck are required, and every adoptee comes with his/her shot records, all vaccinations, free lifetime microchip registration, and lifetime access to $20 per day boarding for all of your kiddos. We will provide you with our veterinarian's information, the website we use to order Revolution, and we will keep you apprised of any goodies that we can share with you. Once you join the Abby Road family, you are family for life!

I am located east of Dallas, and I have adopted furkids out to places as far away as Connecticut. I make every effort to provide video of the furkid you are interested in, and I provide all pertinent information about personality and hometraining as well. Our kiddos are all fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.

More about this rescue

ARRS has been my dream. We purchased our home and land with rescue and senior sanctuary in mind. We provide senior sanctuary to all breeds and primarily rescue dachshunds and dachshund mixes to place for adoption. It amazing to see the life return to a previously neglected dog's eyes or see her tail wag for the first time. We often have a dog for months before the dog comes out of survival mode and begins to play and actively seek affection. It's quite simply amazing and heartwarming. Be a part of that miracle. Adopt!!!
