My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!

Bonded pair Ayden and Arrvo are finally ready for adoption after over a year in foster care. What a year it has been for me and these two sweethearts.

Both kitties are:
❤️neutered
❤️microchipped
❤️up to date on vaccines
❤️free of parasites.

Ayden (green eyes): ~2yo, 8.5lbs.
Arrvo (yellow eyes) ~3yo, 12 pounds.

They are great with other cats (many foster kitties have come and gone in the time they have been here), and would do best with younger cats who love to play also. Both are very playful and love toys, wrestling, cuddling, and running on the kitty exercise wheel. Both enjoy sitting on your lap and being petted. Ayden is more shy and takes a little longer to warm up, but they both acclimate quickly to new people. Treats and toys are the key to making friends with them.

The reason Ayden and Arrvo have been in foster care so long is they had chronic diarrhea which has finally been resolved. They came from a hoarding situation and had some issues with their gut microbiome. In all that time they have always used the litterbox. We did extensive testing and tons of different medications, supplements, probiotics over the past year and finally their 💩 is perfect. They take an inexpensive fiber supplement once a day sprinkled on their food, eat a non-prescription sensitive stomach kibble, and might occasionally need a supplement from KittyBiome that costs $40-100. I don't expect they will need the supplements longterm.

What they will need is an owner who is willing to monitor their litterbox and start supplements again temporarily if diarrhea occurs. Diarrhea is uncomfortable for anyone and we want to find an owner who will commit to keeping their gut health in good shape. Overall they are easy, fun young cats who are healthy and a joy to have around. I love them so much and really want to find an amazing home for this pair. Currently in a foster home in Indianapolis, IN.
