Nora is a 37 pound petite female who is crate trained and housebroke. Nora ended up in the shelter because she is an escape artist and can open doors with her mouth, jump and climb tall fences very quickly and easily, so a fence with supervision at all times or on leash at all times with supervision, is a must for her.
Nora has high prey drive so she is not suitable for a home with cats or small animals. Nora is very interested in squirrels and attempting to climb trees to catch them..
She walks well on a leash and is robust in her walking. Nora does not yet show interest in toys as of yet but does love food. Nora can be vocal if she hears strange noises. Nora also has a fear of thunderstorms and loud noises such as jets flying over.
Nora is aloof and takes awhile to warm up. She is very independent and prefers to do her own thing while keeping an eye on her favorite person. She will follow you around the house and wants to be where your activities are.

Home Check
Arrangements will be made for someone to visit you and your family in your home environment. ALL family members must be present.
Approve Application
Dogs are not adopted out first come, first served. They are placed with the best match for the dog and adopter.
Pay Fee
Adoption fees vary based upon the age of the dog, $325 - $550.
