Meet Dixie!! I was found with my 3 siblings and my Mom behind the McDonald's on Shaenfield road when we were very little. I am shy at first and used to be a little bit scared. Once I get to know and trust you, we will be great buddies and I will cuddle with you. I purr when I am happy and I LOVE to be around people now. I get along good with other cats. I have never been around dogs, but if the dog is respectful, I could love dogs as well.
I like to play with cat toys and I love to sit in my catio or a sunny window sill. I'm looking for my forever home. Are you willing to let me love you. Please fill out an application so my foster mom can set up a meet and greet.

Additional adoption info

Since we are a foster-based rescue, viewing our animals online to find one that you are interested is best. Once you have found an animal you would like to adopt, complete the application by visiting our website at: hhsanimals.org and clicking on the animals picture. We will review it and forward to the animal's foster and have them contact you to go over the next steps.
Our adoption fees are:

Dogs and puppies = $175 + tax
Cats and kittens = $105 + tax

Adoption fees for purebred animals and out-of-state adoptions will be different than those listed above.

These fees include all age appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter. We have discounted adoption fees for senior citizens and senior animals.

SInce the vast majority of our animals are kept in foster homes, it's best to contact us at: info@hhsanimals.org to inquire about meeting an animal. You can also visit some of our available pets at one of our weekly adoption events at either the Petsmart or Petco stores near Bandera Rd and 1604 in far NW San Antonio on Saturday's from 12:00-3:00.
