Kalina is a big, velvety-eared, sweetheart with a gentle heart and a sensitive soul. At six years old, she’s past the puppy chaos, but still full of curiosity and that classic Bloodhound charm. Kalina has spent her life relying on the comfort of other dogs, so she must go to a home with at least one confident canine friend. Other dogs help her feel safe, show her the ropes, and bring out her most relaxed, happy self.

This girl is shy when she first meets new people and may take a little extra time to trust. She’s not the kind of dog who will rush into your lap on day one. Kalina is looking for someone who understands that the best relationships are built slowly. She may not be the “perfect” pet for everyone, but she’s hoping to find the perfect person: someone patient, gentle, and willing to let her  bloom at her own pace.
