My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Natalie, I am a 9-month-old, spayed female, short-haired cat. I was found as a stray July 2024 and brought to MaxFund, now I am looking for my fur-ever home!

I`m a friendly girl with a kitten personality; I love to play and am very affectionate.

I haven`t met any dogs or kids, I do not do good with other cats. If you have kids, you can bring them to meet me! If you have a dog, the shelter staff can test me with a MaxFund dog and see how I do.

I do have a heart condition; the Dr.`s say I`m doing good right now, but I will need follow up visits with the Dr. every 6-12 months.

If you think I would be a good fit for your home, please come to the shelter to meet me!
The shelter hours are Sunday - Monday, & Wednesday - Saturday (Closed Tuesday) 9:30 - 4:30, Closed 12:00 - 1:00 for lunch.

More about this shelter

The MaxFund is a non-profit organization that was established in May of 1988 to provide medical care for injured pets with no known owners, and to seek out new homes for these animals once they have recovered. The MaxFund is a no-kill dog and cat shelter. MaxFund assists hundreds of people and animals each year by trying to make the correct match between owner and pet. MaxFund adopts our animals to Colorado residents only.

The MaxFund is a TRUE no-kill shelter. There is no pre-sorting of animals into "adoptable" and "non-adoptable" categories, discarding the so-called "unadoptable." The MaxFund takes every animal it has the space for. EVERY animal is kept until its owner is found or it is placed in a new adoptive home.
