My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB 14-Feb-2024

Colonel Meow is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved.

Colonel Meow is a large 4 months old male grey and white tabby with a very cute pink nose. He is a very affectionate boy who loves attention. He is a very loud purring machine once you start petting him. He likes to follow you around the house and make sure you can see him, even you are in the washroom. He will climb up your shoulders and back to give you kisses if you don't put him on your lap. At night, he wants to sleep with you.

He is not a shy cat at all. He is confident and likes to explore his environment. When you have visitors, he will be the first one to greet them.

Col Meow is also very playful with lots of kitten energy. He needs many play sessions throughout the day to burn his energy. In the foster home, he plays well with his sister, other younger kittens and selected adult cats. He loves any cat toy you provide for him, especially hunting type games. He uses the scratching post well. He enjoys sitting by the window to look at the birds, the butterflies, and the bunnies in the garden.

He is an escape artist. Do not let him have access to the outdoor. He is trained to have positive association with his cat carriers. He has no fear with them. He goes in and sleep in one of them.

Col Meow does not do well when he is home alone for long period of time. He would be much happier with an adopter who works from home, or go to a home with another kitten/a playful young adult.

He is a very good eater, both dry food and wet food ( he is on Royal Canin kitten food). He may become a large male adult cat. He has excellent litter box habits. He is very smart and learn tricks if you have the time to teach him.
