Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Wednesday!
Age: 2 years
Gender: Female
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
Color: Black
About Wednesday:
Introducing Wednesday, a gentle 2-year-old female black cat who is ready to find her forever home! Surrendered to PAWS on the same day she gave birth to five kittens, Wednesday faced an overwhelming amount of stress and initially shut down. After spending much of her first year without much human interaction, it has taken time for her to learn to trust again. However, with patience and love, Wednesday is making wonderful progress in her foster home.
Personality:
- Shy but Progressing: Wednesday is a shy and reserved cat who is still learning to navigate the world of humans. While she may take her time warming up, she has shown great resilience and determination to overcome her past.
- Trusting Nature: With gentle encouragement from her foster mom, Wednesday is slowly but surely learning to trust again. She benefits from a calm environment and a patient approach, allowing her to blossom at her own pace.
- Cat-Friendly Companion: Wednesday would thrive in a quiet household with another cat-friendly feline who can help show her the ropes. A confident cat can provide the comfort and encouragement she needs to feel more secure in her surroundings.
Ideal Home:
Wednesday would do best in a serene environment where she can continue to build her confidence. A home with a compassionate family who understands her needs and is willing to give her the time and space to adjust will be the perfect fit. Having another friendly cat in the home will help her feel more at ease and encourage her to explore her new space.
Adoption Information:
If you’re looking for a sweet and gentle companion who needs a little extra love and patience, Wednesday is the perfect match for you! She’s ready to find a forever family that will help her continue her journey toward trust and happiness.
