My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Bubba Bear; my foster mom calls me Bub, Bubs, Bubby, Bear, and Buddy. I love playing with other friendly dogs and am great with kids. At 70 lbs, I'm all muscle and am still learning my leash manners. I am crate-trained and am learning basic commands. I would love an active home where I am the center of attention. I live with other dogs and would do best with non-aggressive, submissive dogs. One of my favorite things is drinking water from the hose and learning to swim. I've been told that I have some wild hair for a pit bull, and both of my parents had short hair, so the theory is that I have a recessive gene that has given me this beautiful coat.  My adoption fee is $400, and I am neutered and up-to-date on vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped.

More about this rescue

Cool Cats Rescue is often focused on helping animals that are often overlooked. This includes community & TNR cats/kittens, e-listed dogs from our county shelters, cleft palate, puppies, aggressive and other "less desirable" pets that may need extra TLC, time, patience, and understanding before finding their forever homes. We are committed to building a supportive community of fosters, trainers, veterinarians,, and resources for the animals that we believe are in the most need--we even partner with other local rescues, a veteran's assistance program, a homeless assistance program, and a working cat program (mousers) to form creative solutions for our rescued cats.
