Their adoption process

GUIDELINES FOR ADOPTING Guidelines for Adopting a Dog We only adopt dogs to families in Clark County Nevada. If you have a yard it must be safe, secure gate that small dogs can’t squeeze through, tall enough fence that larger dogs can’t jump over Any dogs you currently have in your home must be spayed or neutered. (Spaying and neutering is mandatory in Clark County.) We will do a home check to verify safety for dog, and to make sure our dog gets along with any pets or children in your home. Entire family should be present for home check. We want to make sure this is the best fit for the dog AND the family. ADOPTION FEES: Puppies Under 1 year $350.00 Dogs $275.00 ($25.00 discount for senior citizens 65 and older) Senior Dogs 10 years & older $200.00 ($25.00 discount for senior citizens 65 and older) Guidelines for Adopting a Cat Adoption fee for Cats is varies by age and breed. Fee is listed in Biography. All cats have been spayed or neutered, are current on their shots, and have been tested for Feline Leukemia and HIV 1. The cats are to be indoor cats only. 2. You may NOT declaw the cat. 3. If for any reason you cannot keep the cat please return it to FUPI..no questions asked. 4. The adoption fee is considered a donation and will only be refunded if ok'd by FUPI. ( We understand there may be extenuating circumstances.).

More about this rescue

Foreclosed Upon Pets, Inc. (FUPI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue of domesticated animals that have been abused and/or abandoned by their owners as a result of economic hardship, including home foreclosure, loss of employment, insufficient income, or death and illness. FUPI will work to further the cause of animal control through the education of the general public about the humane benefits of spay and neuter programs. FUPI will take on a leadership role in developing strategies and creating coalitions with other animal rescue organizations in order to better serve the residential and commercial sectors of the community in the fight against animal cruelty.
