My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Finn: Finn is a lovable 4-year-old American Bulldog mix who was rescued from Miami-Dade in June of 2024. When she first arrived, she was severely underweight, but with dedicated care and her own resilient spirit, Finn has made an incredible transformation. After waiting over a year, she is now healthy, happy, and ready to find the forever home she truly deserves. Finn has an affectionate, playful personality and a sharp mind. She is highly intelligent, enjoys engaging with people, and knows basic cues like sit. She does well with other dogs and genuinely enjoys their companionship. Finn also loves water and would thrive in an active home that enjoys outdoor time and interactive play. Finn has shown some resource guarding behaviors in the past, particularly around food, but she has come a long way with structure, management, and positive reinforcement. This behavior does not define her—it simply means she benefits from clear routines and thoughtful handling. She can also be a bit mouthy when excited, which is something she continues to work on and responds well to guidance and redirection. With the right match, Finn will be a loyal, fun-loving companion who brings energy, warmth, and personality into the home. If you’re looking for a smart, playful, water-loving dog who’s ready to keep growing and thriving, Finn may be the perfect addition to your family.
