Mindy is an incredibly affectionate and playful cat wrapped up in one adorable little package. She warms up to new people quickly and is always ready for pets, chin scratches, or a round with her favorite toys. She loves being carried around, and when she’s done exploring or racing around the house, she’s eager to curl up beside you and drift off into a cozy nap. Cuddling is truly one of her favorite hobbies — she’s happiest when she can be close to her people, especially at bedtime.
Mindy also gets along wonderfully with other cats and really thrives with feline companionship. She and her sister Princess are bonded and must be adopted together. Mindy is the more confident and outgoing sister, and helps Princess feel safe enough to relax and let her sweet personality shine. They play together, nap together, and quietly check in on each other — they really do make a wonderful, loving pair.
Mindy loves to zoom around and chase toys with her cat friends, but she has a gentle, submissive nature that makes her easy for other cats to accept. After playtime, she’s more than ready to curl up with you again and enjoy some snuggles.
If you’re looking for a pair that brings the perfect mix of fun, affection, and companionship, Mindy (and her sister Princess) are ready to move in and become part of the family.
Mindy often has chronic eye discharge, mainly from her left eye. It’s not contagious. It comes and goes, and does not seem to bother her.
Estimated DOB November 2022, she is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested FeLV/FIV negative.
She is an FIP Survivor. She received 84 days of antiviral injections and passed an additional 84 day observation period. FIP is a mutation of feline coronavirus that can happen in some cats who have lower immune systems or who have a genetic predisposition. There is no continued care required after treatment. Most cats have been exposed to feline coronavirus and only a small percentage will experience a mutation. You can read more about FIP here: https://www.sockfip.org
Adopters will receive an adoption package of goodies valued at around $100 if you visit one of our Petstore partners after adoption (Tabby & Jacks and All Paws).
Misfit Felines Inc is a foster based 501(c)3 rescue. All of our cats are in foster homes. The first step in the adoption process is to submit an application.
