Meet Starlight, a joyful, playful teen pup who’s ready to shine in her forever home! This sweet girl is bursting with love, enthusiasm, and personality. She adores games of tug, chasing tennis balls, and soaking up belly rubs from her favorite humans.
Starlight is affectionate, eager to please, and very food-motivated, which makes her a fast learner. She’s fully potty trained, doing great with crate training, leash skills, and mastering basic cues like sit and down.
She’d thrive with an adopter who enjoys an active, fun-loving companion and is excited to keep building her confidence and skills. While she’s fascinated by small critters (so a cat-free home is best), she’d love access to a yard or fun outings like SniffSpots.

Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.
** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. We appreciate you`re understanding and patience. **
HOW TO ADOPT: Check the animal’s location.
From the Dog Kennels/Dog Isolation/Dog Quarantine (in shelter): To meet this dog, please come to Seattle Animal Shelter at 2061 15th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98119, between 1 – 5 pm on one of our open days, no appointment needed. We are open on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We are closed for adoptions on Monday and all holidays.
From Foster Care (out of shelter):
Put the name of the dog(s) in the Subject Line of a new email. In the email include your name, phone number and address. sasfosteradoption@seattle.gov.
