Meet Princess: Princess is a sweet 3-year-old shepherd mix who was rescued from South Carolina in June 2024 and is now ready to find a loving forever home. This gentle girl has a moderate energy level—she enjoys walks, sniffing adventures, and playtime, but she’s just as happy to relax once she’s had her exercise. Princess came to us a bit under socialized, so she can be shy or timid at first, especially with new people or environments. With patience, kindness, and a calm approach, she truly begins to blossom. Once she feels safe, she loves nothing more than quiet cuddle time with her trusted people. She does well on leash and enjoys going out for strolls, and she has shown that she is good with other dogs, making her a wonderful potential companion for a respectful canine friend. She doesn’t require prior dog experience—she just needs someone willing to go at her pace and give her time to build confidence. If you’re the type of person who finds joy in watching a shy dog learn to trust and shine, Princess may be your perfect match.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit the ranch. Our website adoptions page has all of our availalbe dogs and our adoption application at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. You are welcomed to come to the ranch seven days a week or you can make an appointment with our adoption desk. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
